This letter is written in two parts: the first part flows from the right side of the front sheet to the right side of the back sheet, ending with Moore’s signature; the second part, which appears to be an extended afterthought, begins on the left side of the back sheet and flows into the left side of the front. In part one Moore mentions Lady Cunard’s wish to visit Windlestone and says he is sending the first chapter of Evelyn Innes for Lady Eden to read. In part two, he speaks glowingly of his own work: “I am crazy about my novel."
