D. H. Lawrence Collection

Scope and Contents The D.H. Lawrence Collection consists four series: correspondence, notebooks, manuscripts, and periodicals. The letters are grouped by correspondent and arranged chronologically. Almost all of Lawrence’s letters are fully dated and occasional transcriptions accompany them. The manuscripts donated by Dr. Butler are in chronological order by the date of publication. Earl L. Kohler Collection

Scope and Contents

This collection contains 32 letters written during the American involvement in World War I, 1917-1918. The bulk of these letters were written by Earl L. Kohler, serving in the 469th Aero Squadron, to his brother E. LaRue Kohler, who was a student at Bucknell University.

The remaining letters were written to other family members or by friends or relatives.

The Burne-Jones Collection consists of two series: Correspondence and Drawings. Correspondence includes letters written by Edward Burne-Jones and by Georgianna Burne-Jones between 1878 and 1907.
