Administrative History
As of 2025, the purpose of the American Sign Language Club (ASL) is to promote and advocate for the awareness of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing culture both on the Bucknell campus and the surrounding local community. This clubs aims to encourage interaction amongst those interested in the language of ASL and Deaf studies, regardless of prior experience or knowledge, by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment that stimulates conversation.
