Signed “Oliver” [on autograph enclosed note, "Dear Mab, There seems to be more in this than appeared in the final version"]. Boxed copy-edited typescript with directions in red pencil; other minor revisions and directions are in black pencil. Few traces of Gogarty's own revisions, such as appear on an insertion [18.3 x 26.5] for the opening page, can be ascribed with any certainty. 282 pp.; 21.6 x 28.0. Carbon copy, "not the setting copy, unless in emergency." Also 25 pp. production materials and an essay [with carbon copy] related to the book only by the anecdote which provides the title of each. The stamp of the author's agent, Franz J. Horch, is on the essay.
