Materials Specific Details
Douglas writes from the alpine village where he was born. He and Orioli have been there for two to three weeks and will be returning to Florence soon. Capri: [Materials for a Description of the Island] has been published, but Orioli hasn't made much money from it. He complains about a toothache, and that there is no dentist for 500 miles. Orioli adds a note to says that he hopes Sachs had a safe passage [London to New York?].
