Douglas thanks Sachs for sending limericks that Douglas plans to use in two more volumes of limericks. He relates his travel plans: returning to Thuringen, Austria [his birthplace], to see the spring flowers once more before he dies; then to Capri with Orioli to see the festival of S. Costanzo[?]; then back to Florence until the heat starts. He encourages Sachs to visit him in Florence. Lawrence has died and his widow may be coming to Florence soon.
