The letters, manuscripts, and business papers that make up the collection chronicle the last years of the writing career of Norman Douglas, discussing his business dealings, research, travels and thoughts on other authors. Materials Specific Details
The copies of [Some] Limericks are "all but done." Douglas has written "a goodly number of new ones," but is going to wait before printing them. There has been trouble with one or two of his British clients and the "puritanical police." He briefly describes two new works: Nerinda and One Day. He does not know whether the publishers will give numbered copies, and unnumbered copies have no value to a collector.
