Discussion regarding Yeats’ having missed seeing him in London. Yeats apologizes for not allowing MacDermott to use his name to help with difficulties regarding plays and theatre work, but explains his hesitation to do so on the grounds that “… one should never give one’s name where one cannot take personal responsibility.”
