Administrative History
The literary magazine, West Branch, was founded at Bucknell University in 1977. Edited by English professors, Robert Love Taylor and Karl Patten, it included poetry, essays, fiction and reviews. West Branch orginally received funding from Bucknell University and the Association for the Arts. It continues to be published as a thrice yearly magazine and is housed within the Stadler Center for Poetry. It has been funded by Bucknell University and the Pennsylvania Council for the Arts.
