Administrative History
The Board on Student Advising and Counseling was established at Bucknell University in 1974. The purpose of the Board was to improve the academic advising services on campus and to coordinate the efforts of all concerned in order to improve the efficiency of advising. The Board had three sub-committees: Career Advising, Faculty Advising, and Pre-matriculation Advising. The Board was disbanded in the late 1970s.
