Administrative History
The Bucknell University Women's Athletic Association was renamed the Women's Recreation Association (W.R.A.) in 1956. The W.R.A. governed and directed all women's intermural activities. Every women student was automatically a member of the organization. The W.R.A. sponsored activities included tennis, volleyball, softball, basketball and other athletic activities. The W.R.A. was no longer active on campus circa 1983.
