Scope and Contents
The records of the Office of Financial Aid are arranged alphabetically by folder title and range from 1968 to current. The records include correspondence, scholarship and internship information, applications for financial aid, and a number of brochures, such as Financing Your Bucknell Education and Undergraduate Financial Assistance. Also included are records related to the Bu-Co-La-Le-Ro financial aid group, which included financial aid officers from Bucknell University, Colgate University, Lafayette College, Lehigh University and University of Rochester.

Administrative History
The Office of Financial Aid was established at Bucknell University in 1968. The Office of Financial Aid assists students through the process of applying for financial aid and calculates a student’s eligibility for federal, state and Bucknell aid programs. Bucknell University provides financial assistance in the form of grants, scholarships and loans, and work-study opportunities which are administered by the Office of Financial Aid. The Office of Financial Aid worked with the Committee on Scholarship and Financial Aid from 1968 to 1973.
