  • Administrative History

    The Bucknell University Committee on Scholarship and Student Aid was created in 1938 to replace the Committee on Scholarship. The function of the committee was to award and administer all undergraduate scholarships and other forms of financial aid under control of the University. The committee also allocated the income of several loan funds and provided other assistance to deserving students. Membership of the committee included the Dean of Student Affairs, Assistant Treasurer, Dean of Men, Dean of Women, Director of Admissions, the Treasurer and two faculty members. The Committee was renamed the Committee on Scholarship and Financial Aid in 1968.
