Administrative History
The Bucknell University Committee on Scholarship and Financial Aid replaced the Committee on Scholarship and Student Aid in 1968. The function of the committee was to award and administer all undergraduate scholarships and other forms of financial aid under control of the University. The committee also allocated the income of several loan funds and provided other assistance to deserving students. Membership of the committee included the Dean of Student Affairs, Director of Financial Aid, Dean of Men, Dean of Women, Director of Admissions, the Treasurer and several members of the faculty. The committee worked with the Office of Financial Aid until 1974, when the Committee on Student Admission and Financial Aid was established as a committee of the University Senate.
