Administrative History
The Greening of Bucknell Task Force was formed by President Gary Sojka subsequent to the President's Forum entitled The Environmental Imperative. The task force was charged with making recommendations to the president regarding short-term and long-term environmentally responsible goals and projects. Areas of focus included energy, paper, recycling, food, and publicity. President Sojka and Mary Evelyn Tucker were co-conveners and the task force included membership from the faculty, staff, students, and the Board of Trustees.
