Administrative History
The Office of the Vice President for Business and Fiscal Affairs followed that of the Office of the Vice President of Administration from 1982 to 1986 with John F. Zeller continuing to serve in the role. The position of Vice President for Business and Fiscal Affairs oversaw Administrative Services, the Bookstore, Dining Services, Finance, Physical Plant, Post Offices, Security and Safety, and the Treasurer. In addition to business and financial affairs, the position took on general council responsiblities and worked with major donations to the university. John Zeller was also assistant secretary to the Bucknell Board of Trustees from 1956 to 1988 and he served as a member of the President's Council and President's Staff. The position continued until John F. Zeller’s retirement in 1986.
