P.U.L.S.E. is a student organization with a purpose to install a code of conduct that will bind the University to specific expectations regarding merchandising contracts. The group's short-term goals include raising public awareness concerning sweatshops and to prevent any business agreements between the University and merchandisers who participate in sweatshop labor. Long-term goals including expanding their code of conduct to other Patriot League schools, creating educational programs for the community, organizing rallies against sweat-shop labor, creating a newsletter to be sent out monthly, and setting up a network of student-run sweatshop groups similar to ours with other campuses.
