Administrative History
Bucknell Outdoor Adventure is a program initially conceived in the fall of 1995 and implemented in fall 1996. It was developed from a collaboration among Athletics and Recreation, Bucknell Outing Club, Student Activities, and Military Science with a purpose to offer the Bucknell community alternative opportunities for creative, challenging, and safe activities to foster personal growth, teamwork, trust, and leadership through experiential learning primarily in the outdoors.
