Administrative History
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers is a student organization with a purpose to increase the number of Latino students in Bucknell University; promote the advancement of Latino engineers and scientists in employment and education; develop and participate in programs with industry and the university that benefit students seeking technical degrees; improve the retention of Latino students enrolled in engineering and science; provide a forum for the exchange of information pertinent for Latino STEM students; and provide an environment for engineers to support each other in a community setting.
