Administrative History

The Administrative Personnel Committee is a standing committee established to assist in the development or revision of personnel policies for the administrative (exempt) staff. Meetings are held monthly during the academic year and every other month a joint meeting is held with the Support Staff Personnel Committee (SSPC).

The six member Committee are elected to serve in an advisory capacity to the President and the Operations and Management Group. The Administrative Personnel Committee assists in promoting effective communication and discussion about personnel matters among administrative staff and the Office of the President. Six Committee members are elected to serve a three-year term of service. The administrative staff member elected to serve on the Committee on Planning and Budget also serves as a member of the Administrative Personnel Committee. The Associate Vice President of Human Resources or his designee serves as a resource person to the Committee.
