Administrative History
In 1969 with James D. Hammerlee as director, the Office of Student Programs was formed to coordinate programs and oversee student groups. In 1970, an advisory committee made up of students was formed to provide advise to the director and distribute funding to student groups. In 1978, the office name was changed to Office of Student Activities and University Center Programs.
