Administrative History
The Audio-Visual Aids Department became know as Instructional Media Services in 1969. Instructional Media Services provided instructional support by maintaining a collection of audio and moving image recordings and visual materials as well as equipment to record and present audio and visual media in the classroom. It also maintained an instructional media production center that produced non-print instructional materials. In 1978, the name was changed to Media Services. In 1987, Media Services became a program of Bertrand Library.
