Scope and Contents
The records of the Stadler Center for Poetry are arranged alphabetically by folder title and range from 1988 to 2017. Included in the records are correspondence, announcements, reports, schedules, annual prize publications, and programs. Also included are records of Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets, Poem in Your Pocket, Poet in Residence, Philip Roth Residence, and Sojka Visiting Poet programs as well as anthologies of the annual Bucknell Seminar for Younger Poets and Stadler Semester Poets.

Biographical / Historical
Named for the Pulitzer Prize-winning Bucknell graduate, Philip Roth, the program began in the fall of 1993. The position is intended to provide a writer who has some record of accomplishment the opportunity to engage in sustained work over the fall semester each year. In alternate years the residence is awarded to a writer of fiction and a poet.
